God called the Powerhouse Movement and the 5-fold ministry in the movement to equip the believers (the Bride of Christ) as Eph 4:11-16 says, to become mature members of the body of Christ. As part of this process leaders are formed, equipped and appointed to function in their different ministries as God ordained it to be.
Eph 4:11-12 And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
Leaders are appointed by God and recognized in consensus by Powerhouse members and by the leaders within the movement. Everyone in Leadership is Divinely added as an Elder in Powerhouse. Leadership is always servant leadership.
Powerhouse Ministries is a Section 21 Company with a number of Members that meets once a year. They appoint an Executive Committee (EXCO) of 4 – 7 people who function as Executive Directors of the Ministry and meet every month to make decisions and manage the Ministry under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. All decisions are made in consensus and not by voting.
All Leaders are called Eagles and gather once a month to spend time in the presence of God. The Eagles are serving in the following categories:
Pastors: Ordained to function in their callings.
Powerhouse Group Leaders: Leading the weekly Powerhouse gatherings.
Ministry Group Leaders: Leading their own Ministries while part of Powerhouse Ministries.
Fivefold Ministry Leaders: Leading specific areas of ministry within Powerhouse.
Executive Committe: Making decisions and managing the Ministry
The apostolic founder of the movement and his wife leads this ministry as was prophesied over their lives and in obedience to the calling of God.
The different gifts of the 5-fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors andTeachers) are moving throughout the movement to equip and empower the believers for their ministry.
